George Roger Waters opened his eyes into this world on the 6th of September in the year 1943 in Great Bookham that is situated in Surrey. As the years passed by he realised that instead of writing about personal emotions such ridicule and shame he should be writing about more important things such as Nationalism, the ever growing issue of racism and sexism and religion to name a few.

He's an ardent believer of the fact that the issues that are faced by the youngsters today are not that different from the issues that had been faced by people a decade or two ago, in fact they are quite similar. There for he has always tried to give inspirational messages via his music that will aid him in instilling the people of today with the core issues that are facing civilization at present. Plus he has always aimed at promoting good intentions for a better world.
