Kaiser Chiefs are a very popular English music band bellonging to the indie rock music genre. This music band had been formed in the year 1997. theor formation had been the result of inspiration by the Britpop band named Blur_band. This band comes from Leeds, and the group consisted of the much talented vocalist named Ricky Wilson, the guitarist named Andrew 'Whitey' White, the bassist who is named Simon Rix, the keyboardist named Nick 'Peanut' Baines, and last but not the least the drummer named Nick Hodgson. The respective music band has been named after the South African football club tat is named Kaizer Chiefs, and that is a team for which the popular player named Lucas Radebe had also played for.

The group released its debut album named �Employment� and it had been released in the year 2005. this album and the songs included in it had been mainly an inspiration of a new wave and the punk rock music of the late seventies. They have enjoyed considerable international success throughout and have had sales of over three million years. Later in the year 2005, the aforementioned album had been shortlisted for the albums that had been included in the Mercury Prize. Kaiser Chiefs' went on and released their second album that had been titled �Yours Truly, Angry Mob� and had been released in the year 2007. this album had comprised of the song titled "Ruby" which had been a number one single in the United Kingdom charts.

When theyhad been very young, a little over ten years old, Nick Hodgson, Nick Baines and Simon Rix had been in the same class at the educational institue St. Mary's School, Menston in Bradford. After they left the school, Rix and Baines went on to attend university in the year 1996 whereas Hodgson stayed back in the Leeds area where he had met up with Andrew White and Ricky Wilson. This was when Hodgson, White and Wilson they all came together and worked towards the formaton of a band named Runston Parva. This name had been a deliberate misspelling of a small Yorkshire village that had been named Ruston Parva.

After Runston Parva had been unsuccessful and been unable to secure a record deal, they renamed themselves as Parva after the addition of Rix and Baines in their band post their return from university. Parva gained more reconition and crossed the boundaries of Leeds, and managed to secure both a record and a publishing deal. After releasing some singles and an album the respective music band wanted to aim for a long term record deal and hence start afresh with some new songs and also a new name. this is when they named themselves the �Kaiser Chiefs�. However post the closing of the Beggars Banquets the Mantra label that is Parva had bene dropped.
