The J. Geils Band (that is sometimes also pronounced as the "Guiles") is a popular music band of American origin that plays music belonging to the rock genre. This band had been formed in the year 1967 at the venue of the Worcester that is situated in Massachusetts. They are much popular for their single titled "Centerfold" that had been released I the year 1981 and had ma de it to the number one spot in the United States in the early 1982.

The band had initially been established under the name 'Snoopy and the Sopwith Camels.'
